We can provide a wealth of useful information, advice, where to go what to do, French vocabulary hints, contacts and seasonal news, even vital information such as where to buy decent tea.

Naturally we encourage our customers to tell their friends and neighbours about us so that, as our client base grows, we can create a real self-help community where we can all benefit from each others' experiences.

You tell us your problem and we tell you how to deal with it. This may entail us giving phone calls to the authorities involved, sending you a personalised example of a letter to write back, putting you in touch with the right person or organisation, and much much more...

We obviously deal with our customers' problems and needs on a case by case basis and it is hard to define fixed rates which cover all the advice, help and other services we provide. This is why we charge on an hourly "time-spent" basis. In our experience, the vast majority of our clients simply need guidance, friendly advice, and being put in touch with the right person or authority who can resolve the problem.

For any additional work such as arranging meetings, dealing directly with local authorities, basic translating, supplying personalised documents/letters, etc., organising bookings, travel, etc...we charge on a "hourly" basis. This support is basically limited to all the things we can do for our customers by phone, fax or E-mail, or by personal visit to us at Jouandassou.

In general we charge pro-rata on a 30 Euros an hour basis. This could include travelling to meetings, making special translations, repairing computers, etc. etc. In every instance we will inform in advance that we expect to incur extra costs on behalf of our clients and, in this way, there are no unpleasant surprises for anyone.

Internet Support

We extensively use this modern and cheap medium to support our customers. In addition to the general advice and information that can be found here on the website, customers can receive personalised letters in French and other documents by E-mail. We can also help you buy a computer or get the most suited French internet access for you (yes, we have known many UK residents here who dial up long distance to the UK from here to receive their E-mail!!!).
